First images of new Oppo Watch with curved 3D display

The first Oppo smart watch was announced in March this year. They received a rectangular design, so they were compared with Apple Watch.

In September 2019, Guangdong Oppo Mobile Telecommunications filed a patent with the National Intellectual Property Administration of China (CNIPA). The documentation was published today. The patent described three designs of smart watches, including rectangular, square and round. The last watch is the one with the most interest.

The design of this watch is very different from the original Oppo Watch. This watch, if you believe the patent images, should get a convex round screen, which the source calls curved on all sides of the 3D display.

The description also refers to the crown, which is located on the right side of the case. The digital crown, as at Apple Watch, is not provided for rectangular and square Oppo watches, which are also described in the patent. Next to this control there is one physical button. On the back of the case there are various sensors.

It should be noted that Vivo, which, like Oppo, is a subsidiary of BBK, is preparing to release its first smart watch Vivo Watch with a round display.
