Famous Chinese smart watch manufacturer, the company Huami introduced a new watch Amazfit GTR 2, which is equipped with a round frameless screen, blood oxygen saturation sensor and the ability to play music through its own speaker.
Amazfit GTR 2 is available in both classic and sports versions. The AMOLED screen has a diameter of 1.39 inches and a maximum brightness of 450 cd/m2. The sports version has an aluminum alloy housing and a silicone strap, the classic stainless steel version has a leather strap.
The new Huami smart watch is equipped with a more modern second-generation optical sensor that accurately monitors the heart’s activity. The OxygenBeats sensor is used to determine blood oxygen saturation.
The watch is able to monitor the quality and duration of sleep with the SomnusCare function. At the time of release, Amazfit GTR 2 will support 12 sports modes, but in the future their number will increase to 90. There is also room for a gyroscope, GPS and a speaker with a sound amplifier inside. The enclosure is waterproof (5 ATM).
The XiaoAI voice assistant can recognize more than 70 commands even without connecting to the Network. The watch has received NFC, Bluetooth, call notifications, message notifications and support for notifications from applications.
The battery capacity of 471 mAh is enough for 14 days under normal use. If you switch the watch to basic mode with only time display, the operating time will increase to 38 days. If GPS is turned on, the operating time will be two days, and if it is actively connected to the Network, the clock will work for only 10 hours.
As for prices. The sports version of Amazfit GTR 2 will be cost about 148 dollars, the classic version is offered for 162 dollars.
