Sony introduced the third generation of its smart watch bracelet, which was named Sony Wena 3. The device works for a week without recharging, the novelty can be used for electronic payments.
The company announced a wearable device with three different types of straps: leather, metal and silicone rubber. Sony claims it developed the mechanical part, the antenna, the circuit diagram and the board itself to fit in a compact bracelet.
Compared to Wena Active, it is 30% smaller in volume and 2.5 mm thicker. The device is equipped with a black and white display, which displays the same information as on modern smart bracelets: call and message notifications, time, date, number of steps and so on.
The smart bracelet withstands falling from a height of 90 cm, and it is also waterproof (5ATM). The device is equipped with an accelerometer and an optical heart rate sensor, which also allows you to track sleep data.
Sony claims that the device runs for a week without recharging, the novelty can be used for electronic payments. The gadget also has support for Alexa voice assistant.
The cheapest version of silicone costs about 230 dollars, the most expensive – will cost 330 dollars. Sony also offers two models of designer Wena watches for this bracelet, which cost about 550 dollars.
