Google has stopped supporting the platform Daydream VR with the release of the operating system Android 11. This is reported on the updated support page of the Daydream service.
Google stopped selling virtual reality kits Daydream View a year ago, but many applications stopped supporting them long before that. Also platform support was discontinued in Pixel smartphones, starting with the 2019 models.
As reported now, the software Daydream VR is no longer supported by Google and the application Daydream VR will not work correctly on devices with Android 11 and newer versions of the OS. However, third-party applications with Daydream support can still be offered in the store of applications Google Play.
