AMD will officially introduce the Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards at the end of the year, but the performance of one of the models in the series can be evaluated right now. Reliable sources have published the results of the test graphics card AMD Radeon [TM] Graphics in Ashes of The Singularity. Under this designation hides one of the models with a graphics processor Big Navi. Judging by the performance, this model will open the ruler.
The video card was tested in conjunction with Core i9-9900K. It scores in the test 5900-6200 points, while the test was conducted at a resolution of 4K, frame rate was 60 FPS.
And now – for comparisons. Tested Radeon RX 6000 model on RDNA 2 architecture was about 20% faster than the overclocked version of Radeon RX 5700 XT and is on par with the reference GeForce RTX 2080 Ti – that 63 FPS and 6100 points. However, the overclocked GeForce RTX 2080 Ti is even 25% faster – it has 79 FPS and 7800 points.
But this is how the performance of AMD’s promising new product looks compared to different versions of GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2070 graphics cards in the same test and under the same conditions:
- MSI Gaming X Trio 2080 Ti 74.4 FPS (156.63%);
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti water stock 71.4 FPS (150.31%);
- EVGA XC Black 2080 Ti stock 64.9 FPS (136.63%);
- AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics 63.9 FPS (134.52%);
- MSI Gaming X Trio 2080 stock 54.4 FPS (114.52%);
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 stock 47.5 FPS (100%).
In general, you can see that this model doesn’t set any performance records, but it decides the price and positioning. If the basic version of Big Navi with such performance is much cheaper than the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, its success is guaranteed.
