Until Nvidia releases Quadro gas pedals on Ampere architecture, Gigabyte considers GeForce RTX 3080 Vision OC graphics card to be the available means for entering this segment. The company uses the Vision brand for graphics cards addressed to content creators and expects users to want to try the RTX 3080 with Nvidia Studio drivers.
The GeForce RTX 3080 Vision OC printed circuit board is painted black and the cooling system is light. It features a combination of white plastic and a natural matte aluminum color. Addressable light diffuser is built into the upper plane of the casing.
The design of the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 Vision OC graphics card cooling system includes three fans, blocks of aluminum plates threaded onto six 6mm diameter copper heat tubes, which are also passed through a copper plate that contacts the GPU.
The cooling system goes beyond the boundaries of the printed circuit board, so that the total length of the card is 320 mm and the height is 126 mm. The card occupies three slots in the computer case.
The novelty will be overclocked at the factory, which is reflected in its name, but the exact frequency values are not yet known. The illustrations show two 8-pin PCIe auxiliary power connectors, two HDMI 2.1 outputs and three DisplayPort 1.4a outputs.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not name either the production period or the price.
