New rumors about upcoming AMD video cards have appeared on the Web. In this case, the information was shared by the NewEgg Insider website, which is associated with the NewEgg retail network, but is an independent source, so in this case we can not say that the information was leaked by the NewEgg store.
In any case, the data are worthy of attention, although there are questions about them. So, the source mentions three graphics cards: Radeon RX 6900XT, RX 6800 XT and RX 6700 XT. The first will be the flagship and get 5120 stream processors, that is, the same 80 blocks of CU, which we talked about just yesterday. Also, such an adapter will have 16 GB of memory with 256-bit bus, the base frequency of the GPU will be 1500 MHz, and TDP will be equal to 300 W.
The Radeon RX 6800 XT is supposed to get 12GB of memory, and with a 192-bit bus, it looks strange considering that even the RX 5700 has a 256-bit bus. Also, 3840 stream processors are attributed to this card, the base GPU frequency of 1500 MHz and TDP is only 200W.
The youngest of the three Radeon RX 6700 XT source assigns the same 192-bit bus, a total of 2560 stream processors, the same GPU base frequency and a total of 6 GB of memory. The TDP is supposed to be 150W.
In this case, there are questions for the memory bus of RX 6800 XT and RX 6700 XT, as well as for the memory capacity of the latter, because even RX 5700 has more memory. Thus, you should still be careful with this information.
