All GeForce RTX 3080 graphics cards worldwide were purchased in a matter of hours, and probably minutes somewhere. At the same time, neither Nvidia nor any of its partners spoke out about the timing of the next games.
It turned out that yesterday Gigabyte released its first GeForce RTX 3080 from the Aorus family. The novelty went on sale in the NewEgg store, but after 10 minutes stocks were exhausted.
It is assumed that the blame was those who bought the cards for resale. Firstly, the adapters immediately appeared on eBay for $2,000 or more, and secondly, and this could have been the reason for the above, NewEgg’s system, which was supposed to track each order to prevent speculators from buying the cards, did not work. Perhaps, if this had not happened, RTX 3080 would have been bought not in 10 minutes, but in half an hour or an hour. But it wasn’t a fact.
Interestingly, the manager of Gigabyte noted that the new batch of adapters will arrive in stores in the European Union on October 10, but probably this batch will also be small.
