The Radeon RX 5700 will be finally out of production, but the three-year-old RX 580 remains in service

The day before yesterday it became known that on the eve of the announcement and subsequent release of graphics cards Radeon RX 6000 AMD withdrew from production Radeon RX 5700 left in the production range of Radeon RX 5700 XT for another six months. But, surprisingly, released three years ago, the budget (by current standards) model Radeon RX 580 is not going to retire.

As the source writes, Radeon RX 580, based on the Polaris20 XT GPU, will be produced indefinitely. Obviously, the lineup of Radeon RX 6000 does not provide the same available graphics card, and at the end of the allotted time RX 580 simply gives way to the RX 5600 or RX 5500. By the way, these models too will remain in AMD’s production line after the debut of Radeon RX 6000.
