The GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card offers an incredible 24GB of memory. This is a record-breaking amount if we consider this adapter as a gaming adapter, although it’s only a fraction of it.

Why so much memory? Somebody’s going to say it’s going to hurt the future. Also, memory will not be superfluous in various programs that can use the GPU. And you can also make a storage device from the video card memory and install a game on it!

At least one owner of the RTX 3090 claims to have pulled off such a trick with VRAMdrive software called the Ram Drive GPU. He created a 15GB NTFS partition on the graphics card and installed Crysis 3 on it.

Unfortunately, the comparison of the usual installation version of the user does not give, but notes that in 4K on very high graphics quality settings the game shows a high rate of fps, and downloads are very fast.
