Production of the GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card GPU seems to be in full swing. Photos of the GA104 GPU undergoing testing are now online. Apparently, specifically in the case of RTX 3070, the GPU will be called the GA104-300, while the full version is called the GA104-400, but for now it will not be used anywhere, if ever, will be released on the market.
Recall that RTX 3070 contains 5888 CUDA cores and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory connected to the GPU via 256-bit bus. According to the promises of Nvidia itself, the novelty will perform at the level of RTX 2080 Ti, which is very impressive, given that the novelty is half, or even three times cheaper. With this ratio of performance to price, the RTX 3070 may prove even more popular than the RTX 3080.
We also know that the RTX 3070 will come on the market later than Nvidia originally planned, but it’s supposed to allow the company to produce more adapters by the start of sales.
