Datacolor, known as a provider of color calibration solutions, introduced the low-cost portable color measurement device ColorReader EZ. It enables accurate color measurement of samples in the form of reflective surfaces. ColorReader EZ has 85% accuracy and can describe colors in CIE Lab, RGB and HEX systems.
It is said to facilitate color matching and color matching by offering the closest colors from catalogs of well-known manufacturers. Photographers taking photographs of clothing and other products can measure the colors of objects to ensure that they are accurately reproduced in the final images. The complete application also shows other colors that are close to the object being measured, helping to form harmonious palettes.
Unlike the models for professional use ColorReader and ColorReader Pro, the ColorReader EZ uses only one light-emitting diode to light up the object, there is no lens or display, and the power supply is provided not by a lithium-ion battery, but by a replaceable battery. The device works paired with your smartphone, connecting to it via Bluetooth. The price of the novelty is 67 euros.
