Last week, Xiaomi presented a new model of smart toilet on its collective financing platform Xiaomi Youpin.
The unit, called Little Whale Wash Antibacterial Smart Toilet, is offered at a starting price noticeably lower than last year’s $410 toilet and a summer novelty for $800 – version Qingyun will cost $295, and Jingyun – $413.
Both models do not have a built-in water tank and are positioned as economical water consumers. Water protection (IPX4), adjustable seat heating and soft “night” lighting are provided.
According to the manufacturer, the seat is made of antibacterial material. Flushing can be done automatically 5 seconds after the user has stood up from the seat, and also if the user puts his foot to the sensor on the body.
The older version has an external screen, wireless remote control, water filter, and supports functions such as self-cleaning, warm air drying, bidet and water massage.
