HMD Global has announced the first portable Bluetooth speaker under the Nokia brand. The device was named Nokia Portable Wireless Speaker, the body from below is plastic and the top is covered with fabric.
The speaker is available only in black, it is equipped with a strap. Externally, the device reminds Google Nest Mini. On the plastic part of the case there are volume control buttons, power button, play/pause button. The charging port is covered with a plug, but do not hope that the speaker turned out to be at least splash-proof.
The speaker received a 43 mm diameter speaker, the connection is via Bluetooth 5.0. If you wish, you can connect two speakers together to play stereo sound. Inside is a battery of 800 mAh, which allows the speaker to work up to 4 hours, and the built-in microphone allows you to use the device for calls.
The price of the device is not yet disclosed, but HMD Global confirmed that the speaker will go on sale very soon – in November.
