AVer Europe announced the release of two enterprise-class cameras with PTZ functions (pan, tilt, zoom). An important feature of the PTC310H and PTC310U models, which are equipped with lenses with 12x optical zoom and Sony Exmor 1/2.8 inch 4K resolution, is the work on artificial intelligence algorithms. AI allows the AVer PTC310H and PTC310U cameras to detect and track a person in a fraction of a second. It is also possible to keep track of any moving object.
Other AI functions such as presentation mode and automatic tracking in zone mode are also highlighted in the camera descriptions. In presentation mode, the camera remains locked on its target even if it is obstructed by other people or objects. This allows the presenters to leave the stage and interact with the audience while being under constant surveillance.
Additional features are available in Zone Mode, which extends the ability of the cameras to capture content on multiple displays, with the ability to identify up to four zones for capturing content on the display, rather than the movements of the speaker. The user can adjust the shooting angle and initiate accurate tracking of each of the cameras, redirecting them instantly – either by remote control or via the web interface.
The cameras support 4K resolution with up to 30 fps. At lower resolutions, the frame rate can be increased to 60 fps. Video streaming can be output via HDMI, Ethernet and USB 3.0, and in the AVer PTC310U model – also via 3G-SDI interface.
The equipment of the cameras also includes microphone and line inputs, RS-232 and RS-422 ports. PoE+ power supply is also available. The power consumption is 18 W. The dimensions of the cameras are 180.0 x 183.5 x 145.0 mm.
The manufacturer’s recommended retail price for AVer PTC310H models is £2199, and for AVer PTC310U models it is £2499 (both are VAT exclusive).
