Even though Windows 7 was released over 10 years ago, its user base is still quite large. Alas, no (even cosmetic) interface changes have been made, but that doesn’t mean you can’t think about them. So, one designer decided to imagine what this OS could look like in 2020.
As you can see, the standard Windows 7 interface is taken as a basis, but the small stylistic nuances (like the effect of frosted glass) make it more attractive and modern.
The designer borrowed some elements from Windows 10. Quick Panel settings in the spirit of iOS or Android, too, would be very helpful.
In general, this way Windows 7 would clearly look better. It’s a pity Microsoft is no longer there.
