The company Samsung announced a beta-testing program for the proprietary shell One UI 3.0 based on the Android 11 for smartphones Galaxy S20 last month, and today registered developers in the United States began to receive updates.
Closed beta testing also started a week earlier in Korea. Now American developers have shared their impressions, as a result of the first screenshots of One UI 3.0. The public testing phase will start later and ordinary users will be able to participate in it.
At the moment, One UI 3.0 doesn’t boast of any problems and the first testers are not happy with everything. For example, the Quick Setup panel uses a blurring effect and you can’t remove this effect yet. Samsung has not yet implemented Device Controls in the current beta of One UI 3.0.
It is noted that One UI 3.0 offers a redesigned interface that makes the shell highly efficient and user-friendly. The fast settings panel, main settings menu and switches in the settings, context menus of applications, lock screen, and much more were redesigned. Section Android Auto added to the general settings of the device. You can lock the device with the new double-click option.
