Microsoft decided not to impose problem Windows 10 update that was slowing down computers

We are talking about a mandatory update of Windows 10 KB4559309, which automatically installed a new version of the branded browser Edge based on the engine Chromium.

Users for several months complained about performance problems and other unpleasant “surprises” after installing this update. At the same time, the update was made automatically, without any additional actions on the part of the user.

According to user reports on forums and social networks, after installing the update Windows 10 KB4559309 some computers begin to boot slower. For others, the update has led to a general slowdown of the system and the appearance of noticeable delays in loading applications, switching between applications, as well as reducing the frequency of k/s in games. Some users also complain about problems with booting or only booting in safe mode.

Now Microsoft has stopped distributing this update and replaced it with an update number KB4576754. The new update is also mandatory, automatic and “forcibly” replacing the old Edge with the new one.
