This is a fiasco, Apple. Updating watchOS 7 disables Apple Watch

Apple has released the new Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Series a few days ago, and for smart watches of the past years the operating system watchOS 7 became available. Unfortunately, the update proved to be a problem. Apple Watch Series 3 users are complaining about numerous problems after the installation of watchOS 7.

We have already written about one of them – when recording a route, the watch records only the starting point and the rest of the GPS data is lost.

However, this is not the only problem. Users complain about low speed, fast battery drain, and sudden application crashes. Some users do not load extensions, while others automatically lock, shut down or reboot the device many times for no apparent reason.

Note that newer models, Apple Watch Series 4 and Apple Watch Series 5, have no such problems.

watchOS 7 can be installed on Apple Watch Series 3 and newer models. To use it, it requires an iPhone 6s or newer from the iOS 14 operating system. Some features are not available on all devices.

Apple has not yet officially commented on the situation.
