Recently HMD Global published a schedule of updates based on the Android 11 operating system for Nokia smartphones, after which the company quickly deleted the message from its Twitter page.
Now the company has explained the reason for this behavior. It turns out that the information became the public domain “too soon”. The company is still in the process of reviewing this schedule, so the information published is not conclusive.
Users managed to save the previously published schedule:
- Q4 2020: Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 8.1, Nokia 5.3 and Nokia 2.2;
- 1Q 2021: Nokia 4.2, Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 2.3 and Nokia 1.3;
- 1-2 quarters 2021: Nokia 7.2, Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 3.2.
In the course of testing the Android 11 on the Pixel smartphones there was information about various problems. According to the latest reports, users are faced with an error, which violates multitasking in this system. The error prevents users from viewing the list of previously running applications. In addition, this update sometimes causes the screen to blink black with a strange zoom effect. At the same time, users are unable to launch the applications.
