Recently Xiaomi introduced the first serial transparent TV. But what about transparent smartphones? According to the source, Samsung earlier this year filed a patent describing the technology needed to create such a device.
This patent was registered at the end of August, and now we can look at what could look like a transparent Samsung smartphone.
It is worth clarifying that the renderers are created “based on” the patent. However, they look really impressive. First of all, due to the fact that the whole device is made transparent, and this is currently impossible, because it is possible to make the display transparent, but the “filling” and the battery – not.
It is quite possible that in the end the technology will allow you to place all the necessary elements, including even the battery, in the frame of the smartphone, and leave everything else under the transparent display. But it’s not a fact that by the time technology allows you to create something like this, the smartphones are not transformed into something completely different.
As for mobile devices with transparent screens, this is not the future at all. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness phone with such display was introduced more than 10 years ago.
