Smartphone manufacturers continue to work on a new design, trying to make their devices stand out from the crowd and offer users something unique. Trying to remove the front camera from the front panel, the developers place it in a sliding block, as well as hiding under the surface of the screen.
Chinese technology giant Xiaomi has patented the smartphone’s design, which includes two pop-up cameras that can be used for normal shooting and selfies. Based on patent images, LetsGoDigital has created 3D models of the device.
The smartphone described in the patent has a flat screen and very narrow frames. Under the sliding cameras on the back panel you can see a hole for an LED flash. The interesting thing is that both cameras slide out at an angle, they get two image sensors each, front and back.
Xiaomi regularly patents interesting smartphones, but it is not a fact that at least some of them will turn into a commercial product.
