China is so far ahead of all by the rate of distribution of 5G networks. By the end of this year the country planned to build 500,000 base stations 5G, and recently it was announced that China has fulfilled 96% of the plan.

At present, more than 480,000 5G base stations have been commissioned in China. Despite the continuing coronavirus pandemic, the country continued to strengthen its economy and stimulate growth during the crisis. According to Wen Ku, Director of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, more than 100 million devices are connected to 5G networks in mainland China.

In addition, Minister of Industry and Information Technology Xiao Yaqing also said that the country has more than 60 million users of fifth generation networks. 5G offers the highest data transmission speed. The technology is called “connecting tissue” for Internet things (IoT), unmanned cars, smart cities and new mobile applications.

Chinese smartphone manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Huawei, Realme and others, also play an important role in the popularization of 5G. Available devices with 5G support at a price of 150 dollars, such as Realme V3, have already appeared on the market. Back in August, Shenzhen announced that it was the first to achieve “full coverage” of 5G autonomous network, which is not built on the existing 4G infrastructure.
