Unlimited mobile Internet goes down in history. China was the first to cancel this option. Russia and Europe are on the line

As the edition Mydrivers informs, China stops offering packages with the unlimited Internet to users of mobile devices. The changes have already entered into force for users of the largest mobile operator in the world China Mobile. Now users of all tariff plans will see a reminder, which recommends to control the traffic volume and, for example, to reduce the video quality in case of need.

This bill was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information of China last year. Now all three Chinese mobile operators will no longer mention unlimited tariff plans. In August, the corresponding transition began another operator China Telecom. China Unicom also announced a complete abandonment of unlimited packages.

It is reported that if users exceed the established tariff plan traffic, then for the first three gigabytes of additional traffic will have to pay an additional $2.2. And then – 0.44 cents for each next gigabyte.

Experts believe that unlimited data packages will inevitably leave the world market. Many mobile operators from Russia and Europe expressed their desire to stop supporting such tariffs today.

As for the smartphone users, they mostly prefer to choose in favor of speed, not traffic. The fact is that most of the current unlimited packages have a limited speed after overcoming a certain limit traffic.
