The new smartphone LG Wing has already managed to cause a stir in the news and blogs. And it’s mostly ambiguous. Nevertheless, the company has decided to start selling this model.
Model Wing received an additional screen and a long-forgotten form factor “rotator”. The design of LG Wing rotates clockwise, the main P-OLED screen is 6.8 inches diagonal, while the horizontal mode is switched to the G-OLED auxiliary screen of 3.9 inches diagonal. The displays have a resolution of 2460 x 1080 and 1240 x 1080 pixels respectively.
Auxiliary screen is supposed to be used for typing on the on-screen keyboard, chatting and content management while watching video on the main screen, displaying important notifications, such as incoming calls without overlapping the content on the main screen, and so on. You can configure pairs of applications that the user wishes to open simultaneously on two screens.
The smartphone is based on a single-crystal system Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. It is equipped with a main triple camera with 64 megapixel, 12 megapixel and 13 megapixel sensors, a 32 megapixel retractable front camera, a subscreen fingerprint sensor, 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of built-in flash memory, 4000 mAh battery with wireless charging (Qi) support.
The phone supports 5G, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC, there is a USB Type-C port. Provides protection from water and dust IP54. Dimensions are 169.5 x 74.5 x 10.9 mm and weight 260 g.
The first region where LG Wing will appear is South Korea, but then it will appear in Europe and the USA. In Europe, the price will be 1100 euros, and the start of sales is scheduled for November.
