Chinese sources confirm that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro smartphones will surpass many today’s phones including fresh models Mi 10 and even Mi 10 Ultra.
Unlike this models Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro will be equipped with LCD screens (not AMOLED) with a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz (instead of 90 Hz). In addition, the displays will be supported by MEMC technology for dynamic image quality compensation, which should make the picture on the screen smoother.
All of these features, namely the 144Hz screen and 108 megapixel camera, suggest that Xiaomi has accepted the challenge from Samsung and is ready to compete with its top models next year.
The source also reports that the hole for the selfi camera, which is located in the upper left corner of the screen, will be very small (about 3.8 mm in diameter). The flagship Xiaomi Mi 10 series has subscreen fingerprint scanners, but the use of LCDs has forced the fingerprint sensors on the side panel of Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro.
The 108-megapixel Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro should go on sale for 640 euros and the 64-megapixel Xiaomi Mi 10T should cost 550 euros.
