On October 14 OnePlus will release its next flagship smartphone OnePlus 8T. A few weeks ago, a new OnePlus device with the model number KB2001 appeared in the Geekbench 5 database. This smartphone was equipped with 8 GB of RAM, single crystal system Snapdragon 865 and worked under Android 11. Obviously, it was about the OnePlus 8T.
However, now in Geekbench there is another model of the smartphone OnePlus under the number KB2000. In the database benchmark says that this smartphone is also equipped with a single-crystal system Snapdragon 865, but has 12 GB of RAM.
The device has collected 3843 points in single thread mode and 11714 points when using all cores. Earlier, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed that there will be no Pro version of the flagship this year. He added that the OnePlus 8T already turned out to be a great smartphone, it was impossible to make it even better, so there is simply no point in releasing the OnePlus 8T Pro.
There are opinions that in the OnePlus 8T lineup can be released Ultra model with 12 GB of RAM. So far, however, these are just speculations.
Also it turned out that the manufacturer uses in OnePlus 8T obsolete image sensor Sony IMX586. This sensor is also used in the OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro, OnePlus 8 and even OnePlus Nord.
