Huawei admitted that the company wants to use Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets in their devices. Due to the U.S. ban, they can not buy goods from any American company, and the stock of their own processors is limited. Now Huawei is showing great interest in partnership with Qualcomm.
Guo Ping, Chairman of Huawei, officially announced that they are looking forward to working with Qualcomm and are ready to use chipsets of the American company in their devices. However, since Qualcomm is an American company, the cooperation of the companies is still under great question.
We hope that the US government will be able to revise its policy and if they do, we are still ready to buy products from American companies.
Earlier in an interview with Android Authority representative of this corporation also said that Huawei is ready to work with the American enterprises, including Qualcomm. Another manufacturer of chipsets MediaTek, as well as other companies, has applied for a license, which will allow to supply chips Huawei.
