Together with the flagship smartphones Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro, Xiaomi recently introduced a simpler and cheaper model – Mi 10T Lite. This device was the first in the world based on the recently announced single-chip platform Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G.
As part of this 8-nanometer SoC, we recall, includes a modem Snapdragon X52 – the same as in the SoC Snapdragon 765G. Moreover, in terms of performance Snapdragon 765G and 750G should be as close as possible. For now, however, these are only theoretical assumptions – we should wait for the real tests of Mi 10T Lite.
The second feature of the novelty is the display with 120 Hz frame rate. For a smartphone, which can be bought for 250 euros, this is an outstanding parameter. The display, by the way, is characterized by a diagonal of 6.67 inches, Full HD+ resolution, covering 84% of the NTSC color space and a brightness of 450 cd/sqm. The smartphone also received stereo speakers.
Interestingly, the main sensor of the Mi 10T Lite quad camera is exactly the same as in Mi 10T: 64 megapixel 1/1.7 inch optical format. Needless to say, there is no optical stabilization system here. An optional 8 megapixel sensor is connected to a 120° wide-angle lens. The other two sensors have a resolution of 2 megapixels, one for macro photography and the other for scene depth analysis.
The 16 megapixel front camera is cut into the display, which is protected by tempered glass Gorilla Glass 5. The fingerprint scanner, as in Mi 10T/Mi 10T Pro, is placed on the side edge, but the frame of the body, unlike the older brothers, is not made of aluminum alloy.
Mi 10T Lite received a 4820mAh battery and 33W charging support, a standard headphone jack, NFC adapter and IR emitter.
Prices are announced. For the basic version of Mi 10T Lite with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of flash memory ask 280 euros, and for the top version with 6/128 GB – 330 euros. But for fans Xiaomi made a good offer – the first customers can get Mi 10T Lite in the basic configuration for 250 euros.
