Researchers of DxOMark resource have published a comprehensive test quad-camera smartphone Vivo X50 Pro+. The result was somewhat stunning: the device with 127 points broke into the top 3 of the smartphone rating, yielding only Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and Huawei P40 Pro. But behind were such recognized camera phones as Huawei Mate 30 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and even Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra! It seems that Vivo smartphones have never risen so high in the ranking of DxOMark.
Vivo X50 Pro+ got 139 points for shooting photos (pay attention to the best disciplines – autofocus and zoom), 104 points for shooting video (also autofocus and image stabilization).
When shooting photos, experts noted high detail and low noise even in low light, accurate white balance, wide dynamic range, high detail over the entire range of focal lengths. The disadvantages are mainly due to various kinds of artifacts, as well as unnatural colors and dark images when shooting from an ultra-wide camera. The pros when shooting video are accurate exposure, fast autofocus, effective stabilization and high detail.
In general, the experts are satisfied with everything except for the 13 megapixel module with an ultra-wide angle lens.
