Specialists channel PhoneBuff decided once again to bring together in battle Samsung smartphones with different platforms. In this case, the experiment involved two Galaxy Note20: one on SoC Snapdragon 865 +, and another – on Exynos 990. The format of the test – the speed at which applications are launched.
As you can see, initially two devices go “nostril to nostril”, but the version with Exynos 990 “stumbles” on the conversion of video to Adobe Rush. The process on Exynos 990 takes almost twice as much time.
As a result, this version of Galaxy Note20 finished the test slightly slower than its opponent, although the final difference was less than 10%. If it weren’t for the test with video encoding, the difference would have been minimal. This once again confirms the fact that the Exynos 990 is as fast as Qualcomm’s flagships in terms of performance in ordinary everyday tasks, but this is only in ordinary tasks.
