Back when the single-chip platform Snapdragon 750G was announced, it was suggested that it is hardly inferior in performance to its older sister – Snapdragon 765G. Now on the web there is a test Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite – the world’s first smartphone on the Snapdragon 750G, and it confirms the assumptions. And, apparently, the Snapdragon 765G will soon go to rest.
As you can see, in the AnTuTu Mi 10T Lite test it scored almost 330 thousand points. For comparison, the average result of the Redmi K30 5G test on the Snapdragon 765G is 317,000 points. So the new SoC, despite the index in the designation, even bypasses the older model! However, there is nothing surprising, and that’s why.
About ten days ago the famous insider Roland Quandt gave first details about Snapdragon 775G. Well, according to the informant, this SoC will significantly increase in performance and will be much closer to the promising Snapdragon 875 than the current Snapdragon 765G to Snapdragon 865. From here we can conclude that the Snapdragon 750G, again, in spite of its designation, is a real successor to the Snapdragon 765G, and the latter will soon (after the announcement of the Snapdragon 775G, which is expected before the end of the year) retire.
