Xiaomi is the market leader of smart TVs in China and India, and has also achieved great success in other markets. This year, the company has released a 98-inch TV under the brand name Redmi and fully transparent Xaomi Mi TV LUX OLED Transparent Edition. Now there is information about the new 82-inch television of the company.
The upcoming Xiaomi Mi TV will have a resolution of 8K (7680 x 4320 pixels) and model number L82M6-8K. It has already been certified by China’s 3C regulator, which confirmed that it operates at 100-240V and the maximum power is 700W.
Sources report that the TV uses a panel produced by LG Display. It is also reported that the 82-inch 8K Xiaomi TV has a built-in 5G modem. It is reported that this TV will belong to the category of premium devices, but it will still be significantly cheaper than the Xiaomi Mi TV LUX OLED Transparent Edition, which costs more than 7000 dollars.
Xiaomi will not be able to become the first manufacturer to introduce a TV with built-in 5G support, because another Chinese company ChiQ (Changhong) has already made a corresponding announcement earlier this year.
The presentation of the novelty is expected in the near future.
