Russian developer of industrial unmanned aerial systems, Fixar company, introduced to the public a professional drone with the same name Fixar and hinting at certain tasks prefix 007.
According to the manufacturer’s description, Fixar 007 is a vertical take-off and landing aircraft. It provides autonomous flight of full cycle from take-off to landing.
The drone has already passed flight tests in Russia, its official sales began in September. Also Fixar 007 has received registration in the Ministry of Transport of Canada, it is planned to receive the certificate of conformity FAA in the USA soon. The company plans to begin deliveries to Canada by the end of 2020, then the turn of the USA will come. The Russian drone will also be exported to the CIS, EU, Africa, Middle East and South-East Asia.
On one battery charge, the drone can last up to 60 minutes and overcome 60 km. Cruising speed is 72 km/h and payload is 2 kg. The drone is capable of operating efficiently at temperatures ranging from -30 to +60°C, as well as at altitudes up to 5 thousand meters above sea level. Applications include geodesy/cartography, laser scanning, energy, agriculture, delivery, real-time monitoring and security tasks.
