Of course, there was a professional driver Johannes Van Overbeek at the wheel, so the result for an ordinary driver will be more modest. But if we are measured by the capabilities of professionals, the McLaren P1 under the control of another car racer Randy Pobst performed not better, but even worse. Moreover, the Tesla record is very close to the time of passing the lap hybrid hypercar Porsche 918 Spyder and supercar McLaren Senna. So this video fully confirms our assumptions that the 1100 hp Tesla Model S Plaid will be faster than other supercars and hypercars. The Model S Plaid is valued at $140,000 – 10 times less than the same Porsche 918 Spyder.
