Announcement of new desktop processors AMD Ryzen 5000 will be held in early October – this is the official data. But they will appear on sale later. According to Yuri Bubliu, the developer of yesterday’s ClockTuner application, sales of new CPUs will start on October 20, that is almost two weeks after the announcement.
In this case, Bublius specifies that October 20 may be released only two models: Ryzen 9 5900X and Ryzen 7 5800X. Another source argues that the first wave of processors will be four – added to the above Ryzen 5 5600X and Ryzen 9 5950X. At the same time, these data do not contradict each other, just the last two CPUs can come out a little later.
If the data is correct, we will initially get four processors that will fill all the main niches except the initial. We will have a CPU with six, eight, twelve and sixteen cores.
Baglij also adds that the new generation Radeon graphics cards, which will be introduced at the end of October, will be released between November 15 and 20. The source notes that these are old data provided by AMD itself.
