During the last press conference of Huawei Full Connect Conference 2020, Chinese manufacturer announced that this year Huawei desktop computers will appear in stores.
Over the past few months, we have heard several times that the company is preparing desktops. At the end of August, the Chinese technology giant offered the developers the Huawei Qingyun W510 workstation. Now, the manufacturer has officially confirmed that everyone can buy Huawei desktop computers this year.
The above-mentioned Huawei Qingyun W510 workstation is equipped with HiSilicon Kunpeng 920-3211K chipset with 24 cores running at 2.6GHz, as well as AMD Radeon 520 graphics processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB SSD.
The first commercial computer should receive a Kunpeng 920 processor, AMD Radeon R7 430 discrete graphics card, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of SSD, as well as a 180W power supply unit and Harmony OS branded operating system.
All future desktop computers and servers will be built on new Chinese chips HiSilicon Kunpeng. It is expected that delivery of Huawei servers and desktops over the next three years will increase to 300,000 and 5 million units respectively.
