After upgrading to One UI 2.5 Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 has got many new features

The company Samsung began distributing the latest version of its proprietary user interface One UI 2.5 for last year’s flagship tablet Galaxy Tab S6. The update contains a September fix for the Android security system.

According to SamMobile, the update is currently being distributed in Germany for models with modules Wi-Fi and LTE. Firmware has numbers T860XXU3BTI2 and T865XXU4BTI1 respectively.

One UI 2.5 adds many new features to the Galaxy Tab S6, including improved support for multiple windows, side panel improvements and wireless DeX functionality. The latter feature allows users to display the image from their smartphone on compatible TVs without a cable. Owners of the Galaxy Tab S6 will also benefit from improved Wi-Fi performance. In addition, the firmware added a menu to view Wi-Fi speeds.

Also owners of the Galaxy Tab S6 with One UI 2.5 will be able to quickly connect to the Wi-Fi network by requesting a password from the device that is already connected to this network. Something similar is, for example, in the MIUI shell from Xiaomi.

You can check for updates manually by selecting “Settings”, “Software Updates” and clicking “Download and install”. You can also find an archive with the update on the web, but many people recommend waiting for the update to be delivered by air.
