Rumors that appeared in the summer that Honor is preparing a gaming notebook, fully confirmed – the novelty officially debuted in China. The device was presented by the head of the brand Zhao Ming.
It should be noted at once that the Hunter V700 – a full-fledged gaming model, equipped with the most powerful Intel CPUs and discrete 3D-cards Nvidia level of average and above. Even the cooling system is not the easiest: when you open the lid, the lower part of the case slides apart, due to which provides better airflow. There are two fans, the radiator has 240 ribs. And there are even special channels for dust removal!
The notebook is equipped with a 16.1-inch Full HD IPS screen with a frame rate of 144 Hz and 100% sRGB color coverage. Maximum contrast is 1000:1, brightness is 300 cd/sq.m. Due to the very small side frames (4.7 mm) such a large display was able to fit into the size of a 15-inch laptop. By the way, the thickness of the body is 19.9 mm.
Hunter V700, as well as almost any gaming notebook, is equipped with backlight (both keyboard and case). The set of connectors is decent: there is a 3.5mm jack for headset connection, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C (combined with DisplayPort 1.2), HDMI 2.0, RJ-45.
RAM capacity in all configurations is 16 GB (can be expanded to 32 GB), SSD capacity is 512 GB or 1 TB. The base version of the notebook for $1110 includes Core i5-10300H and GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. The other two configurations are Core i7-10750H and GeForce RTX 2060, and the difference between them is only in SSD capacity: in the $1260 version – 512 GB, in the $1480 version – 1 GB. Sales of the new product in China will start on October 2020.
