Company Asus brand Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced the release of a special version of the laptop ROG Zephyrus G14, which was the fruit of cooperation with the “famous brand of technological clothing” Acronym. The concept of the device was developed by one of the founders of Acronym, designer Errolson Hugh, who was based on his own ideas about the needs of the user of a powerful portable notebook.
“We want users to see the product as a tool and use it more actively. Sometimes we take technology for granted and let it into our daily lives while remaining passive observers. We only get information instead of creating something new ourselves,” is how Hugh described his development vision.
A special version of the notebook claims to have made the unique features of its design even more expressive. The concept developed by the Acronym Design Studio required “special materials, unique manufacturing techniques and processing methods, specially designed paints and two new original fonts.
More specifically, a fine engraving was made on the sides to emphasize that the Zephyrus G14 ACRNM RMT01 is “an innovative device based on the latest technology”. Along with the carbon black finish, a closer look at the surface of the case reveals schematic images “that you want to see in the smallest detail”.
In addition, eight exclusive animations have been created for the optional AniMe Matrix display. The designers even touched the packaging, bringing it “in line with the Acronym philosophy”. The Airpak case, in which the notebook is packed inside the box, can be reused or recycled.
We note that Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is the world’s first and so far the only 14-inch notebook with an integrated Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics card. On the technical side, the presented notebook version is no different from the original model.
