Huawei is experimenting again. Honor MagicBook laptops will be available for rental

Huawei is actively developing different areas after the future of the smartphone division was questioned after the U.S. sanctions came into effect. The Honor brand is ready to launch an experimental limited time notebook sharing promotional campaign in China.

As part of the offer Honor MagicBook laptops will be available for people who can rent during the upcoming national holiday of China. Those interested in this offer will be able to rent Honor laptops at Honor stores.

For those who are in Beijing, the company has partnered with food delivery service provider Meituan to offer home delivery of notebooks. In the announcement, the company mentioned that users will be able to work with personal files stored on their smartphones by connecting the phone directly to the notebook.

It is not yet known whether this company plans to extend the offer, as well as whether it will offer a similar opportunity to residents of other countries. However, it seems to be a good way to promote the line of MagicBook laptops under the brand name Honor.

Earlier, Intel received a license from the U.S. to supply chipsets to Huawei, which will be able to continue producing laptops.
