After Lenovo introduced “the world’s first computer with a flexible screen”, in 2020 the company introduced the model even lighter: the mass of ThinkPad X1 Nano is only 962 grams! It is the lightest ThinkPad in the history, but at the same time it is not devoid of any characteristics.

The ThinkPad X1 Nano received a 13-inch screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2160 x 1350 pixels. The display can be either normal or touchscreen. The hardware platform is based on Intel 11 generation processors with Xe graphics. The maximum memory capacity of LPDDR4x is 16 GB, the maximum capacity of SSD with PCIe interface is up to 1 TB.

The laptop got a lot of different security systems. Among them – a mechanical curtain that covers the web-camera, fingerprint scanner, infrared camera with presence sensor, hardware encryption module dTPM 2.0, a slot for the lock Kensington.

Also in the configuration of the Dolby Atmos audio system and four microphones, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, 48Wh rechargeable battery, backlit keyboard, Wi-Fi 6 adapters, Bluetooth 5.0 and 5G modem. Dimensions of the device – 292.8 x 207.7 x 13.87 mm.

The novelty will come on sale in December 2020. Price in the U.S. – from $1600, it will be possible to order a laptop with pre-installed Windows 10 Pro, as well as with Ubuntu.
