Acer recently introduced the XV282K KV gaming monitor, which is based on a 28-inch IPS 4K resolution panel from Innolux. The monitor supports AMD FreeSync adaptive synchronization technology and update rate of 144 Hz.
According to the source, this is the first Acer monitor equipped with HDMI 2.1 interface. The monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified and covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color space. The static contrast ratio is 1000:1.
In addition to two HDMI 2.1 ports, the monitor is equipped with one DisplayPort 1.4 input, a four-port USB 3.0 hub and a 3.5 mm audio connector. By removing the adjustable stand, you can access the VESA 100 x 100mm mount.
As for the prices. Acer is already started accepting pre-orders for about $1245 in China. The monitor is expected to appear in other markets in 2021.
