Eizo company was recently introduced its first super wide format monitor with concave screen. It was the FlexScan EV3895, which uses a 37.5-inch panel and UWQHD+ (3840 x 1600 pixels) resolution. The concave shape of the screen reduces the difference in distance from the user to the center and side edges of the screen.
Advantages of the monitor include the ability to display images from two or even three sources simultaneously (PbyP). Combined with the USB Selection function to switch one set of mouse and keyboard between PbyP windows, this allows you to easily organize the use of the monitor with multiple systems.
The manufacturer also notes flicker-free brightness adjustment with the ability to set the minimum level of 1 cd/m2.
The monitor is equipped with a USB-C connector, which is used to transfer video and power a laptop or mini-PC (power consumption should not exceed 85 W). In addition, there is a DisplayPort input and two HDMI inputs. The monitor is backed by a five-year warranty. The source price is not quoted.
