At the recent Huawei Full Connect Conference 2020, Wang Yinfeng, president of Huawei’s tablet and PC product line, confirmed the company’s intention to enter the monitor market, which had been leaked earlier.
According to him, Huawei monitors will appear in the market before the branded desktop computers. Recall, the Chinese manufacturer also announced that this year, Huawei branded desktop computers will appear in stores. This means that the first monitors of the company can come out at any time.
According to previously published information, the Chinese manufacturer will release displays with curved screens for the gaming market. Huawei’s goal is to compete with other manufacturers that have already entered this market, such as Xiaomi.
It is rumored that Huawei will outsource the production of standard flat screen displays to BOEVT, a subsidiary of BOE Technology Group. The first batch of displays for Huawei will include about one million monitors. The range will include 2-3 models with 27″ and 34″ screens.
