MSI announced the release of the world’s first gaming monitor with artificial intelligence (AI) and concave screen with a radius of curvature of 1000R, she said. It will open the Artymis series.
The 1000R is said to be the most suitable curvature for the human eye. MSI press release says that a person can “see the whole screen without any fatigue”. In addition, the concave screen increases the feeling of being immersed in the game.
As for the AI, it manifests itself in the features associated with gaming applications. In particular, Artymis Monitors will be equipped with microphones with noise reduction function, working according to AI algorithms. AI is also used to select the color of the reticle point that contrasts with the background, making it visible at any time. Finally, Night Vision AI increases the detail of dark areas of the screen while keeping the details in bright areas, relying on AI calculations and allowing you to see your opponents better.
The monitor is equipped with the patented OptixScope zoom function, which provides eight-step zoom that can be switched using hot keys. This automatically changes the sensitivity of the mouse to match the current zoom.
The Gaming OSD application allows you to change monitor settings and bind them to different programs. Presets are selected automatically when you use a program. The Gaming OSD also allows you to use hotkeys in the game to adjust display settings.
The first model in the series will be the MPG Artymis 343CQR. It features 3440 x 1440 pixels resolution, 1ms response time and HDR400 certificate. Begin of sales of this device is scheduled in December of this year.
