Analytical company Sensor Tower has published a report on mobile applications for the third quarter of 2020. In total, users have spent on mobile applications in the App Store and Google Play 29.3 billion dollars, and the number of downloads reached 36.5 billion.
Application TikTok, which is now trying to block in the U.S., is a confident leader in almost all parameters. TikTok has become the most “money” non-game app in the total score, as well as the most downloadable app.
Separately in the App Store, the TikTok application leads in both income and downloads. But in Google Play TikTok managed to take first place only on downloads. In terms of income, the first place was taken by a subscription to Google One.
Interestingly, in the App Store users have spent almost twice as much as in Google Play. Revenue from applications increased by 32% and the number of installations by 23.3%.
