The problem is that creating such solutions from scratch is very difficult, so AMD turned to MediaTek, which apparently licenses the appropriate IP cores. Based on these cores, AMD will be able to create its own chip with Wi-Fi 6 support, which will be the basis for future notebook adapters. However, it is still unknown when such a product will be ready.
