Galax company stands out for the fact that when creating its products, it pays attention to design. However, often this applies to graphics cards and motherboards – there is where to walk.
Today the company has released its fastest SSD – HOF Extreme. Read and write speeds for it are claimed at 7000 and 6850 MB/s, and this is very fast even by the standards of models with PCIe 4.0. For comparison, the previous Galax models – HOF Pro M.2 – boasted “only” speeds up to 5000 MB/s.
The novelty is based on 3D NAND TLC memory, which made it possible to create models with the volume from 1 to 4 TB. There are no other details yet.
As for the design, this appearance of the drive is due to the aluminum and glass case.
