EK Water Blocks announced the EK-Quantum Vector RTX 3080/3090 D-RGB, which is designed for graphics cards based on Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series reference boards. However, it is not suitable for Founders Edition cards, for which the manufacturer promises to produce special models.
The novelty belongs to the category of water blocks with full coverage, taking heat away from the graphics processor, memory chips and voltage regulators. Among its advantages, the manufacturer refers to the circuit with the separation of the coolant flow, which provides low hydrodynamic resistance, making the water block is well suited even for systems with low power pumps. In the area adjacent to the GPU, formed an array of 27 ribs, between which lie micro-channels with a width of 0.5 mm.
The product is offered in four versions: EK-Quantum Vector RTX 3080/3090 D-RGB – Nickel + Plexi (165 euros), EK-Quantum Vector RTX 3080/3090 D-RGB – Nickel + Acetal (160 euros), EK-Quantum Vector RTX 3080/3090 – Copper + Plexi (150 euros) and EK-Quantum Vector RTX 3080/3090 – Copper + Acetal (150 euros).
In all cases the base is made of copper, but in the first two it is nickel-plated. In addition, these options are decorated with addressable backlighting. In addition, for 37 euros can be purchased black reinforcement plate EK-Quantum Vector RTX 3080/3090 Backplate – Black, and for 44 euros – nickel plated EK-Quantum Vector RTX 3080/3090 Backplate – Nickel.
